Responsibilities
- Deployment, configuration, and maintenance of various services based on Kubernetes
- Leveraging DevOps tools to build a continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
- Configuring, maintaining, and monitoring security tools to ensure maximum availability and reliability
- Installation, upgrade, and maintenance of Kubernetes platform
- Integrating various services (databases, storage, APIs) into cloud applications
- Working in Agile (Kanban) methodology
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in Platform engineering
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS, Azure or vSphere
- Understanding of Linux environment and networking (hands-on experience)
- Understanding of virtualized infrastructure (VMs, software-defined networks, software-defined storage) and containers
- Understanding of distributed systems and web architectures design principles (twelve-factor applications)
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Good command of English
- Willingness to travel and work on-site for up to 3 months onboarding (in the future)
Nice to have
- Experience with automation: BOSH, Terraform, Concourse, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker
- Experience with monitoring and logging: Splunk, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Grafana, Logstash, Kibana
