Workshop: Building Progressive Web App with React
We are happy to invite you to workshop «Building Progressive Web App with React» with Oleksandr Tryshchenko, Front-end developer in DataArt Wroclaw. Workshop will be held in English on 24th of November in DataArt office.
You might have heard what Progressive Web Applications are, but have never had a chance to create them. Or you might be just wondering how to make your mobile websites work better on mobile devices. Then this workshop is for you.

We'll develop a SPA with React and leverage the following technologies:
- Service Workers
- IndexedDB and LocalStorage
- HTML5 Push API
- React.js
- Node.js and Express
Expected skillset:
- Intermediate JavaScript
- Basic React + Redux (we won't dive deep into React itself)
- Basic Node.js and Express
- Understanding SPA and client-server architecture
- English
We don't expect you to have any initial experience with it as we are going to cover PWA topic from the very beginning. We are beginners-friendly, so don't hesitate to send us a few words about yourself. Make sure, that amount of places is limited.
We expect you to have the following equipment:
- Laptop with wifi connectivity and the latest Chrome
- Node.js and npm installed
- Your favorite code editor installed
Speaker:
Oleksandr Tryshchenko has seven years of experience in web development. Since 2014 his main specialization is full stack JavaScript. He's currently focused on delivering decent user experience to mobile users which includes both: adaptive SPAs and hybrid mobile applications. He cares about usability on mediocre mobile devices, accessibility, weak connection tolerance, native integrations, etc.
