Using C++ at Sabre
Sabre Campus is an initiative to build awareness of our technology prowess and expertise in next-gen capabilities and solutions. We believe in raising the level of understanding of contemporary topics among technology professionals and create a platform for dialogue. In an open-house format, the sessions invite interactions and debate on the evolving nature of technology.
In this edition, the theme is C ++ and its application in solving complex problems for customers of Sabre Poland.
The session will cover C++ in one of Sabre's development teams.
Why do we choose to migrate our applications from Java-based to C++?
How do we use the programming language to describe business logic and at the same time not lose track of system resources?
Present a simple and important characteristic of C++ - value semantics. How does it help write fast, safe and easy to understand code, and why is it at odds with the popular "object-oriented" programming style?
Date: March 1, 2022, 4:00 p.m.
Form: hybrid (team members are invited to the Sabre office, and all others for online transmission)
Language of the meeting: English
See you and hear you soon!
