The Manufacturing industry is going through its fourth revolution which is often coined by analysts as Industry 4.0. This 4th revolution is driven by digital transformation and is enabling manufacturers to produce new products and services, time to market, and drive operational efficiencies across the value chain through the use of cloud technologies such as Industrial IoT, Machine Learning, Robotics, Autonomous Operations, and Simulation.
Philip Morris International and AWS have joined forces to co-develop a service ecosystem solving the biggest challenges of manufacturing enterprise digital transformation. Key outcomes of this vision are to:
1 make data easily discoverable and accessible for various personas within manufacturers,
2 reduce data preparation time,
3 make data management turn-key for system administrators.
Sounavo and Tomek will walk you through two different perspectives on the initiative's North Star and Proof of Concept.
