Description:
Brainhack Krakow 2022
“Simulating the brain to predict behavior in health and disease”
In Brainhack Krakow 2022, we focus on brain simulations and their ability to predict behavior and its neural mechanisms. We invite researchers from all over the world to join this 3-day event to develop their own projects revolving around this main theme.
As one of the main aspects of Brainhack is promotion of open science, we focus on reproducibility of brain stimulations in predicting behavior. Because of that, this event will introduce some elements of competition. Teams working on submitted project will have to prove that results of their projects lead to repeatable outcomes on different datasets.
Apart from the work on the projects, participants are welcome to attend one lecture and two workshops. The lecture will be about reproducibility in neuroscience, one workshop will introduce GitHub and the other will provide participants with tools useful to manage their careers.
Deadline for registration as a Team Member is 20.09.2022!
Date: 21-23.10.2022 (Friday-Sunday)
Place: Institute of Psychology, Jagiellonian University, ul. Ingardena 6, 30-060 Krakow.
